HUCKABEE SUPPORTERS VOW TO PUSH FOR SUPER TUESDAY VICTORIES
HucksArmy.com brings fight to Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and beyond
Conservative African-Americans announce support for Huckabee
Governors, Right to Life organizations announce support
HucksArmy.com General makes the case for Huckabee's electability

WASHINGTON, D.C.. -- Gov. Mike Huckabee received strong commitments of support from grassroots organizations today as Huckabee voters prepare to send their message to the GOP establishment on Tuesday: Do not ignore the issues that matter most — Sanctity of Life, protection of the Second Amendment, and the need to replace the tax system with a fair alternative.

"Win or lose, Mike is carrying the grassroots message," said Lucas Roebuck, HucksArmy.com public affairs officer. "However, we believe the governor can win. Delegate dominance, brokered convention, multiple ballots on the floor, all possible paths to the GOP nomination."

Huckabee's grassroots base is more energized than ever before, said Brett Passmore, HucksArmy.com forum administrator. "E-mails, phone calls, standing on street corners, we are going to do everything we can to bring home delegate victories for Huckabee in as many states that we can."

Huckabee is the most electable candidate, argues Justin Thomas, of the Thomas Report and a general at HucksArmy.com.

"Huckabee has faced the Clinton machine in all of his elections. Bill and Hillary personally came and campaigned against him in the gubernatorial elections and miserably failed," said Thomas. "Huckabee is the best communicator in this election season. He is widely stereotyped but when people hear from him directly, they will come to find out his integrity, eloquence, and intelligence."

African-American Conservatives Announce Support for Huckabee

Huckabee received a boost of support today from a group of African American conservatives, including Don Scoggins and Star Parker at a press conference today in Washington D.C. Held at the Washington Press Club, Michael Brown and Mike Phillips represented HucksArmy.com at the event.

"Governor Huckabee should not be intimidated to stop his bid for the Republican nomination," said Don Scoggins, veteran GOP activist and president of Republicans for Black Empowerment, a DC based national grassroots organization. "The momentum of the grassroots that propelled this party into victory is behind Mike and will not stop fighting for him regardless of his bank account."

"Inside-the-beltway Republicans have lost touch with the increasing seriousness with which heartland conservatives relate to the traditional values agenda," said Star Parker, a nationally syndicated columnist and conservative activist. "More and more folks are feeling personally assaulted by the meaninglessness that is gripping our culture and believe that Mike Huckabee is the only republican candidate that embodies the moral clarity of the GOP ideals. The groundswell generating support for Huckabee's candidacy understand that moral and economic health go hand in hand and should not be underestimated."

Thomas notes that Huckabee's appeal to African-Americans makes him more electable.

"Gov. Huckabee received the endorsement of Black conservatives and independents in Alabama," wrote Thomas. "In Arkansas, Gov. Huckabee received 48% of the African American vote in his gubernatorial election -- which is unprecedented."

Huckabee Receives more Key Endorsements from Governors, Right to Life groups

• Former Montana Governor Judy Martz has endorsed Huckabee in advance of that state's Super Tuesday vote.
• Alabama Citizens for Life has endorsed Mike Huckabee as the candidate with the "strongest pro-life position." Alabama joins NRTL affiliates in New Jersey, Arkansas, Tennessee, Arizona, Alaska, Missouri, Georgia and Montana in endorsing Mike Huckabee.
