HUCKABEE WINS LOUISIANA!
Kansas, Louisiana victory proves no one has GOP race "locked up"
No clear winner in Washington state race shows lack of consensus
HUCKABEE HAS SEVERAL PATHS TO DELEGATE VICTORY

CADDO PARISH, La. — Written off by many, Gov. Mike Huckabee showed that the GOP race is not over after winning the Louisiana primary and dominating the Kansas Caucus Saturday. The Washington state caucus was too close to call as of midnight central time, with Ron Paul, Huckabee and McCain roughly tied — certainly no "frontrunner" dominating the race.

"The volunteers in Huck's Army and other grassroots groups continue to defy conventional wisdom," said Lucas Roebuck, Public Affairs Officer for HucksArmy.com. "The conservative GOP voters, not the pundits are the ones who will decided this nomination."

Volunteerism, Web interest and campaign contributions spiked as hundreds of HucksArmy.com forum members followed the election coverage online.

Huckabee won the Sunflower state by a large enough margin to win all the Kansas delegates.

"Huck's Army is pleased with the results coming out of Kansas but we are ready to march on to the remaining 24 States and U.S. Territories that have yet to cast a ballot," says Jason Tolbert, a "general" on HucksArmy.com forums. "We will not stop until Gov. Mike Huckabee is in the White House as our 44th President of the United States."

"The interest in Huckabee has never been higher," said Brett Passmore, HucksArmy.com forum administrator. "We broke records in people online, number of posts, pretty much everything."

Members of Huck's Army also made thousands of phone calls Saturday to voters in Virginia in anticipation of that state's Tuesday winner-takes-all primary.

DELEGATE RACE: PATHS TO VICTORY

There are at least 996 delegates remaining and McCain currently has 724 and Huckabee has 230. Huckabee could become the GOP nominee under these paths:

1. If Huckabee, Ron Paul and other candidates can collectively win 530 of the remaining delegates, the GOP convention will be brokered. Having denied McCain, Huckabee would be favored to win the brokered convection.

2. For Huckabee to clinch the nomination with 1,191 delegates, he would need to win 961 more delegates or 96% of the remaining delegates.

3. For Huckabee to go into the convention with the lead in delegates, he would need to win 745 more delegates or 75% of the remaining delegates.
