HUCK'S ARMY volunteers place calls, pass out voter guides to WISCONSIN
Grassroots supporters committed to Huckabee to the end

MADISON, Wis. — The grassroots volunteers of HucksArmy.com have expanded their efforts this week to persuade Wisconsin GOP voters that Gov. Mike Huckabee is the best choice for conservatives looking for someone with executive experience. Gov. Huckabee is the only person running for president with executive experience, leading the executive branch of Arkansas government for more than a decade.

"We're making phone calls, passing out voter guides, conducting meet-ups, attending rallies, getting signs up, doing everything we can to get Huckabee's message out," said Jimmy Morris, National Grassroots Campaign Manager.

The Huckabee message is appealing to voters, said Alex Harris, HucksArmy.com co-founder.

"Mike Huckabee's message on sanctity of life, a fairer tax system, Second Amendment rights and a strong military is clearly resonating with conservative voters," said Harris. "Huckabee was behind 32 points in Virginia a week before that primary, and he cut McCain's lead to the single digits on the strength of conservative voters, who heavily favored Huckabee."

"No matter what happens in this election, Huckabee is the standard bearer for conservative America," said Brett Harris, HucksArmy.com co-founder. "The more delegates he wins, the more the GOP establishment must recognize our voice in this process."

Supporters believe Huckabee could still prevent Sen. John McCain from winning the 1191 delegates needed to clinch the nomination, forcing a brokered convention where Huckabee could unite the conservatives.

"Like Gov. Huckabee, we're not quitting this fight until we've won a brokered convention or someone else has the nomination actually locked," said Lucas Roebuck, HucksArmy.com Public Affairs officer. "The troops at HucksArmy.com have come this far. We're not stopping now."
